Our training program is designed to meet and exceed all Wisconsin Department of Safety
And Professional Services (DSPS) requirements for
Armed security officer certification.

Wisconsin DSPS Requirement

The following requirements must be met to obtain armed security officer certification in the State of Wisconsin. Our program ensures full compliance with each requirement.

Training Hours

Minimum 36 hours of approved training including classroom, firearms, and practical instruction.

Background Check

Clean background check with no disqualifying offenses as defined by Wisconsin statutes.

Firearms Qualification

Demonstrated proficiency with authorized firearm(s) through approved qualification course.

Age Requirement

Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.

Residency

Valid Wisconsin driver's license or state-issued identification.

Physical Capability

Able to perform the essential functions of an armed security officer.

Important Notice

Completion of this training program is one step in the certification process. Candidates must separately apply to the Wisconsin DSPS and pass their required background check. Certification is subject to DSPS final approval.
